New sauna in the backyard with privacy area. Rebuilt using a 1980s sauna. Vertical cedar slats are two sided (in and out with R16 insulation). Horizontal base is new, R16 insulation. Floor is built 6" above clean stone. R5 Rigid insulates plywood covered with cement layer.

Original sauna heater. SK-8. 8kw. 21 inch square, 37" high.

Two button setting--both buttons are supposed to provide full power. Meter readings show full power going to heater.
Sauna heater without cover. This is at 140*F. Coils are not glowing--which makes me think heater is faulty (it is second hand). I know its getting full power--electrician tested everything today.
